HEYYY!!!! YOUUU!!! GUYYYSSSSS!!!
in before lock :D

Why advertise it in a Sticky? Thats like the kettle calling the pot black. Kinda hard to bich about piracy when its embraced with a Sticky. Pretty much telling all who visit "HEY look here, Crysis 2 is on torrentz".

/Intiate HIJACK

Lets talk about the PC demo instead, hows that sound? Whats the status on it? :D

Can we expect Dx11 in the PC demo?

I will never download the pirate copy.
1. because its illegal and secondly because quite frankly it looks far worse than the final build.
theres no place on earth where its illegal to download a product, misty mith, now if i was to sell the product on and make money thousands of pounds from it, well, then they would have to prove it. so to use it as a test to find out weather i'd like to buy the product, is saving the company money from the cost of promoting it, so if i was the torrent site i'd be sending them a invoice, of what they owe the torrent site, in promoting there product, LOL, I ad a good upbringing my perents tought me to share and not to be selfish, and give, with a good heart, so it says alot about the attuide of a few, and also personally would not hurt now one over somthing of nought , LOL
Unauthorized use of Crysis 2 IP software is illegal, nobody, other than EA/Crytek internal staff can give permission to use or test the Intellectual Properties of Crysis 2. Taking and using something that does not belong to you and without permissiom is classed as theft, which is a criminal offence. This is something your parents should of educated you on.
LOL...........LOL, its your shame what binds you up, but i'm a free spirt not bound by the mount of slavery, LOL I hope you are free of these bonds soon ,

I love how when talking about pirating it always comes to blame the PC version. Consoles have JUST AS MUCH PIRATING! You can get cracked games of Wii, xbox and PS3 versions of games to download, and its just as much as the PC counter-parts.

I think this is mostly due to us getting a late PC demo. Where is it? People dont want the MINIMUM requirements for this game, they want to know what it takes to MAX IT OUT. A pirated version solves this by letting players try it. People want their rigs ready now for maxing out Crysis 2, not after the game comes out.

Im not condoning pirating, its wrong and hurts games, developers, and the future of the industry. However, providing a demo or at least recommended specs for the game would give us an idea of what needs to be upgraded. Demo's are so essential from a marketing stand point, and much more important on the PC than the console. It lets people know how the game will run, and get a sample of the gameplay.

I would say Recommended Specs would be something like, Quad Core cpu, a Dx11 video card, and 2-4gb of ram, Windows 7 hopefully with 64bit support.

At this point we think it is appropriate to close this thread. As mentioned in this statement http://www.gamesas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=7409, we are disappointed that this leak of the early incomplete build happened. Having said that we are truly overwhelmed by the support that you, our community, have shown to us. We have passed on your comments to the team, who were absolutely devastated by the leak, and it is great for them to know that most of you will experience the demo and the game as they intended it.

As Cevat said, we can assure you that PC gaming is very important to us and will always be important to Crytek in the future. We will continue working on PC games.

Thank you for all your support
