Theres 2 other methods if anyones interested:
1) Change the brightness setting to one down, and then put it one up. Flickering should be completely resolved until you restart the game/ALT_TAB out of it, in which case you must repeat the process.
2) Install the latest CAP. If that doesn't work, install Radeon Pro and force FEAR crossfire detection and it should resolve the issue.
