Native Support for AMD HDMI 1.4a 3D Interface?

I believe that the current highest resolution/performance for 3D gaming on HDTVs is through end-to-end use of HDMI 1.4a. Using this interface, TriDef's Ignition sofware, and a Sapphire 6970 graphics card, I have been immersed in 1080P24 3D gaming. The 1080P24 gaming experience is great, with movie-rate game video being driven by 60 Hz controller interaction/responsiveness and displayed in 3D at 60 Hz. The 6970's rendering performance is generally high enough to not impose rendering limitations in this process.

The new AMD HDMI interface uses a different, higher resolution format - a stereo frame packet where both left and right eye full frames are included. These frame packets are sent at rates up to 24 FPS, in 1080P. This mode is distinct (with improved graphics quality) from SBS, checkerboard, interlaced, top/bottom... The two current AMD Crysis 2 3D display options (SBS and interlaced) are less desirable than the HDMI 1.4a format. Does Crytek/EA plan to provide support for this interface soon?

I should note that, when Ignition is used with Crysis 2, the game experiences significant shadowing problems - enough to keep me from continuing play. Crysis (1) had a minor shadowing problem, but Crysis 2's problem is much worse - and shadows cannot be disabled with the new Crysis graphics interface. This shadowing problem (different shadows in left and right eyes, creating annoying ghosting effects) does not arise with almost any other game and Ignition.

Both the HDMI 1.4a/HD3D support and Crysis 2 (v1.4)/TriDef(Ignition 3.2.18) shadowing problems have not been resolved to-date (after more than one month).

I should note that the user-submitted profile I provided to TriDef for Crysis 2 has been downloaded more than 600 times. In this profile, I clearly identify the shadowing problem, as well as the reason I created the profile in the first place - the lack of native support for HDMI 1.4a/HD3D. I have NOT finished the game because the shadow mismatching overwhelms an otherwise outstanding rendered environment. I have tried disabling Shadows by adding commands like "e_shadows=0" to the system.cfg file, but Crysis 2 seems to ignore this command (it executes other commands in this file like "g_skipIntro=1", though).

If these problems are not going to be addressed in the next month or so, do you have any suggestions for disabling only shadows. I am NOT using a Steam-based installation, so the system.cfg file appears to be the appropriate interface for end-user changes. This system.cfg file does not appear to contain all game configuration settings, however, and it does not seem to support some changes like the example above.
