In the road rage trailer the support guy calls the player prophet, but i thought we would play as Alcatraz in SP.

So is it:

1. Alcatraz = Prophet
2. We play as multiple characters
3. Someone screwed somethin up
4. Im hallucinating again

Throughout the story CryNet thinks that you are Prophet since he had the Nanosuit before Alcatraz and gives it to him.

First of all if prophet really does die, emperorcleon, you have no right to spoil that part of the story for anyone else. I havent played the leaked pirated version of the game so I hope you didnt just ruin some of the story for me. I THINK that Alcatraz does get the suit from prophet and thats why people call him prophet. I also think that alcatraz is actually nomad from the first game, since his voice in the be the weapon trailer sounds exactly like nomad. EXACTLY like him. I compared their voices in some sound editing software and the difference is practically nonexistent. Why all these different possible call signs for the protagonist? I have no idea but I definitely cant wait to find out

Just curious, but where was it that Crytec said this? Im not doubting you, I'd just like to read up on it myself. I had been asking myself this question for some time

Yeah. No spoilers are at the begining. Prophet dying and giving u the suit is what starts the real story. its because he dies that we have a story. any big game mysteries arent found out towards the middle or end of any game, not the begining.

i didnt play the pirated version. i saw a video but it turned out it was the beginging of the game. also Prophet dying isnt a big secret. its at the begining. u dont have to work to find that out. everyone who starts that game will see him die so its not a mystery or goal u have to work for. if i had seen something from the middle or end(which i didnt since the vid was only 25 min) i would not have said anything.
