Destructibility ?

Does Crysis 2 have a lot of destructibility like Battlefield BC2 ?

It does seem to have very, very limited level of destructibilty.

The environmental destructibility is fairly limited. Don't expect to blow holes into walls using explosives or anything like that. That said, I believe some types cover are destructible.

hmm, in Crysis you could cut down a forrest of small tress... i want something like that! allso wonder if you can blow up any car/truck in Crysis 2 :o.

Crysis had/have some of the best explosions i have ever seen! sometimes you just had to reload and reload a certen save just to blow the same **** up again :D

In trailers you can see concrete roadblocks and pillars being chipped away by gunfire. I'm pretty sure buildings can't be destroyed but this seems reasonable given your setting. There is also better bullet penetration compared to crysis 1, but I'm not sure if this will transfer to multiplayer.

BC2 is a game focused on destructibility and with a very different war setting. You can chip walls and cut small trees in Crysis 2, but dont expect to plant a few C4's on what building you want and wait for it to go down.

If its anything like Crysis 1, its going to have almost everything destructible. However, large structures, roads and concreate buildings probably will not break.

CryEngine has waaay better physics than Bad company 2. Bad company 2 is semi-scripted destructibility where you can take out 2 walls and it wont fall when realistically (like in crysis 1) it will. Bad company 2 requires you to destroy all 4 out all 4 +1 on the top floor [lol] to destroy it.

I can't say for Crysis 2 but it's POSSIBLE to have CRAZY good physics. Look at some stuff at CryMod. amazing mods created VERY dynamic and realistic physics. It's only up to Crytek's amount of work and what they felt was a good limit to force on users and their hardware. I'm sure the console versions will be very limited though.

Dont expect the limitation in the Xbox version to be the same as the PC or PS3

uhhh ok why does everyone think that BC2 physics are good, First of all its scripted. Shoot some walls and it will come crashing down but by a script. Theres no real physics just bits and chunks flyinh off. the entire floors are completly scripted.
