Crysis on Delta

Post » Fri Dec 31, 2010 8:13 am

Hey peeps. So I decided to complete the first Crysis 1 more time before I get to play Crysis 2. For the first time I decided to try out the delta mode, and I gotta say that the game is almost completely different on Delta! It basically requires much more skill because a single korean can kill you quite easily. You have to use strategy and use the nanosuit modes right in order to survive. You have to create distractions and use cloak very often. Delta definately changes the way you play. I recommend that everyone who owns the 1st crysis atleast tries the Delta for once. Ive made it to the tank level but still much more to come. No more koreans running away from you, this time they will shoot to kill.

It's too bad that you didn't discover this sooner. Delta was the experience that Crysis was meant to be! I beat it on delta the first time I played through the game and it made the experience unbelievable, although I cannot say the same for Warhead. Like you said, the beauty of Crysis on delta is that you are forced to play smartly and use the suit and weapon customization to their full potential. The reduced radar, Korean only voices and no grenade indicator make you feel like you are Nomad. **** love that game

In Delta it's easy until you face the aliens in the mountain (the snow part), outside the alien base. Since that point it's hell on earth, at least for me.

I find Crysis 1 a cakewalk no matter what difficulty I set it to. For the game to present any challenge at all I have to limit myself with things such as not using Cloak, etc.

Delta is super easy.

Be a man, use this: http://www.crymod.com/filebase.php?fileid=1743&lim=20&sid=e903b2083c77323df1e5ad2c8ac5126a
If you want to be super-manly, use that mod and ONLY pistols.

All FPS games are a cakewalk on any difficulty, at least in Crysis you can't hold W down in delta and beat the game without ever stopping. Furthermore, at least it isn't any COD game which lasts 7 hours on the hardest difficulty lol.

CoD: World at War is considerably harder than Crysis on the highest difficulty settings. Crysis has a longer much longer campaign but it certainly isnt challenging.
