Price lowered because of leak?

I noticed that yesterday a couple shops lowered the price for Crysis 2 with +- 10,- euro.

I don't know if this was a decisionof the shops or Crytek / EA but because more shops lowered the price I was wondering if the advice-price was lowered because of the leak? Also see http://uk.ps3.ign.com/objects/083/083754.html A few days ago the Nano-edition cost $150,-. The fact that the Nano-edition was also lowered made me also think it was a decision from EA (or Crytec) because it is extremely limited and only available for pre-order, so shops will not need to be afraid to have it in stock and not being able to sell it.

I think lowering the price is the best way to tackle piracy. (then again, a new PC-game should then probably cost nor mare then 25 euro in order to really taggle piracy, a console-game 10 euro more)

However, lowering the price was then a to late decision, now the real fans who already pre-ordered have paid the full price.

The online store from which I pre order my games still shows 79 levs (Bulgarian currency) which equals ~39,5 euros.

Instead of lowering the price, they should of just added some fun game modes for the multiplayer that'll truly be epic and be worth the same cost.

As PC gamers already buy the largest percentage of our games digitally then if we were to actively seek to purchase games directly from developers websites (cut out the middle man so to speak) that might help attract more developers to the platform.
