What! I still can’t redeem my LE code and they expect us to pay more money for a map pack that may or may not work on your account…wait, map packs for a Crysis game? What happened to Sandbox Editor and community maps?

I won't be picking up this until the game is completely fixed. Otherwise it's already just another waste of money.

i've already gotten my 60$ worth from playing 40+ hours of multiplayer.

Not a bad idea; I’m normally against pirate stuff but with Crysis 2 they deserve it!

Crytek take notes from Valve/Portal 2, they are in the gaming business and actually finish the game before release!!!

now see whats the difference between fallout new vegas DLC and crysis 2 DLC? they both are just to milk some more money and frankly fallout disappointed me with graphics since its absolutely the same engine as Fallout 3.

I was thinking about this last night. Since they have servers and its not something that is open for your own customization there might be a slight problem with cracking the additional map packs.

If they configure all servers (they can since they are the providers) to check the map pack integrity and there will be something in EA account servers that will say: this cd-key is valid to use map pack xxx then were screwed and it is 99% sure that it cannot be cracked because you wont have any access to the checking system.

Altought if they release the map pack I will wait for future patch. If the new patch will resolve most of the problems that are present since day 1 then I consider to buy a map pack. But if the next patch wont help with any issues that were faceing and we all know that those thing should never happen (disconnections, closed cvars, lags on skyline, cheaters/hackers) then I will send my DVD directly back to the boss of Crytek with note which will say "shove it up your ass - unfinished product, worse game of the year". I think it will be fair!

Do you realize that if you buy the DLC, 2 months from now CrEAtek will release another map pack? And another more next?

Pc people just wait till the editor rolls out - and port your levels from campaign and tweak into multiplayer maps - oh yeah thats what crytek have done but are asking to pay for it.

Ok seriously why pay more into an unfinished product ( FIX IT FIRST) and maybe id be a bit more excited if the maps where in different enviroments - crysis 1 maps on disc and downloadable where never straight rips from the campaign.
Jungles,deserts places without urban structures and you might of had a few more sales. Very lazy - and should be free for all!!

The problem is that I don't belive more on Crytek.
There must be some kind of trick in the SDK, I don't believe we'll be able to make multiplayers maps seeing how it is their business now.

haven't been played for a week already - just got bored. i spend on forums all my gaming time instead of playing
my firend gave up with the game much earlier - about week or two after he started
i still like many features of the game, but now i doubt CrEAtek wll fix the game and enhance MP process. i see these companies have another plans regarding this game
