main problem of payed dlc is that they split the community, and c2 community is not as big as cod one so the problem is even bigger
also 15€ for cod was way too much, 10€ for crysis2 is still too much imho.
considering also that maps are taken from single player so they're just adaptions, not much work involved to create that, btw it's all EA fault so we should blame EA first of all.
also everyone in the world expect most bugs to be fixed before asking for pay again, this happens for every software in the market, so this dlc only make people more upset and i'm sure they'll get very few income from this operation (at least from pc).
is it worth? probably not.
a big fail.

BFBC2 first dlc was FREE for PC users, there must be a reason don't you think ?

1€ for each map looks much more reasonable to me, i think many people will buy if it costs only 4€, so better 10% sales at 10€ or 30% at 4€ ?

never ever bought any dlc for any game, only one exception, defense grid: awakening dlcs, 3 dlc 1€ each one, do the same and i'll buy that, even if there are still many things to be fixed.

i've payed c2 19€, nobody on earth will spend 10€ if they have payed 19 for the full game. PC world is different and EA money svckers will always fail until they accept this.

The fact that Crytek is yet to say anything about the price means that they're looking at the community reaction before deciding whether or not make us pay for this DLC.

I think I would pay for it, but having it for free would be pretty nice seeing how many bugs we have been dealing with (and we're still dealing with daily, for istance, i can't upgrade ATI drivers to 11.5 or flicker will come back :()

I still am not able to use my LE content!!!!!!

This is quite true!

Are you blind, dude?

It's 10$ (14.2$ in Europe). The price is in the EA page.

$ 10 is a small amount of money. KOD BO mappack knzhbn 15$.
That Crysis maps are cheaper than COD's doesn't make them cheap. Both are **** expensive for 4 maps.
Like someone tell before, $10 is between 25% - 50% of the price we payed for the game.
Moreover, map packs should be free.
See Counter Strike, Bad Company 2, Modern Warfare 1, Team Fortress 2, etc...
FPS games with BIG communities because they did have plenty of free maps to play.

I'm totally sorry, gamesas.com doesn't say a word about the pack or it's price -.-
Anyway, 10$ is a bit too much imo :( guess i'll buy anyway, but don't know if it will be really worth it

You are free to do what you wish with your money. But the DLCs are a **** virus, man.

Buy one today and tomorrow you'll get two more in the store. And Crytek/EA will keep releasing DLC's till the community stops buying them and then they'll let Crysis 2 die and will release Crysis 3 to start over.

PD: By the way, if you're from Italy the price is 10€, nearly a 50% more expensive than the american price.

Stop complaining and save your time.

Crytek wont be upset if the minority (forum users) dont buy the Map pack.

Actually, Crytek is happy cause the majority (people who dont access this forum and those who dont even know what forum is) will buy the DLC.

Section 8: Prejudice, although not a graphical heavy-weight, is a sp/mp fps game with lots of content. It just came out, and is 13 € on Steam. 3 € more than what they want us to pay for 4 maps.

It was developed for consoles and then ported and optimized for PC.

BTW, I just read that The Witcher 2 will have ALL its DLCs FREE. (Shame on you, CrEAtek)

Some people still loves the PC gaming. Cheers for CdProjekt.

IF game have multiplatform engine then it wasn't ported since games with multiplatform engines don't need to be ported anywhere to work on any platform. Same was with Crysis 2, this game have multiplatform engine so IT DON'T NEED TO BE PORTED, thats why it wasn't port. Guess some people still don't get it.

Witcher 2 have multiplatform engine as well and yet never will be a console port.

it's hard to explain with my poor english, but porting is not only rework game engine to make the game possibble start on another platform. it's optimization for another platform, adding or removing some enhance, reworking controlling, options, may be add some difficulties lvls etc

what can see the x-box guy when he start Crysis2? he can see the game for X-Box (PS3 and any other console)
what can i see when i start Crysis 2? absolutely the same with X-Box guy - i see console game. how can i see it? becouse of menu, becouse of "help" for x-box, becouse of reduce graphics (when the game constructed on one of the most powerfull engines at the moment by engines developers), very bad AA, DX9 at last, poor AI (game difficulty is just a joke comparing with MW2 for example), i see low resolution JPG on the background on some lvls, i find 3D support cutted to all hell to make sure the mode will be work on dam console (i start to hate this device!), i see simplified controls to make sure gamepads will be able to do everything needed in game etc etc etc
i HAVE NO feeling of console porting when i launch BFBC2, but that game is multiplatform as well
so, am i so wrong? or may be something is wrong with Crysis2 eventually?

in my opinion there should be a feature that allows users to create maps like in crysis 1. and of coures these maps must be freeware. I am also playing CoD MW2 and i dont see a sense in paying for a MAP!! i would pay these 10 or 15 buck if they e.g. will continue the story or ad a new mode like zombie mode or really basic things. BUT I DONT PAY FOR A LITTLE MAP!!

YEAH! Finally, someone who understands. Russians get it. Russians don't settle for anything less than perfect. Screw you, CryTek.
