2 Questions: Steam & a More Embarrassing Matter

Post » Fri Dec 31, 2010 10:34 am

I have two questions I would like to ask that have been on my mind.

1) I pre-ordered my Crysis 2 game off of EA.com. Will I be able to use Steam with it? Have achievements, in-game chat, and statistics?

2) I notice this game will have partial nudity. Hehe, my parents won't like that. So what does it mean by partial? A woman's back?

there are no steam archievement or statistic in steam, crysis use is own ingame account system, but like any game you can add the shortcut in steam to have the SHIFT+TAB community and chat, about that partial nudity thing, i think its because the nanosuit seem to have a big jackstrap lol

Partial means no "important" body parts will be shown. You can say that a girl wearing a bikini is the most that will be shown under partial nudity label.

I don't think you should play it in front of your parents anyways. I remember in multiplayer, your character would randomly curse when he'd die or something lol. Like motherf*****, f***, it was unneccessary but pretty funny lol

The game is basically a murder simulator, so if your parents are okay with that, a little boobage shouldn't be an issue.

With the partial nudity bit probally just means that there is a part in the game when you go into a science lab or something to put on the nanosuit 2, maybe you just see some naked bodies floating in tanks or on a bed being studied. Nothing rude just science.

America is weird like that. You can murder everyone, but you can't show private parts on TV....

It seems like jelf is the only serious one about the 2nd question, I think. I don't think a bikini girl is a big problem. I mean, the beach is worse, right? I still wouldn't want anyone to see it though.

No, actually it's more like this:
u will see a nipble. prepare.
Prey had "partial nudity" too, it featured nipbles.

Partial nudity....... I'm guessing that's when you see either:
1. *Semi-spoiler-but-not-really* not wearing the suit (But they're wearing some sort of skin-tight mini-suit. You only see their back.)
2. Some poster or sign or something on a shop-front wall at something like a clothes shop

So, anyway, partial nudity is nothing because you'd see 9001 instances of more-than-partial nudity at shopping centres.
No need to be alarmed ;)

Tell your parents that this game at least doesn't make you a rapist - it could have been Bulletstorm!

Far from it actually.
Alright, thank you everyone for the responses.
