We want to physics and destructible

So was the theme of D11, and it seems to work. I propose the same - we want to physics and destructible "Anyone who wants to write under these favorite topics - we want to physics and destructible.

Of course. You want physics? Get the amazing "AWESOME PHYSICS DLC" then.

Fact: crysis 2 has more destructibility than Crysis 1

in Crysis 1 you could only blow up cars and their wheels

in Crysis 2 you can take out their doors by shooting at them as well as their wheels

Crysis 1 has destructible small trees like Crysis 2, big ones can't be destroyed on neither

in Crysis 2 you can destroy the edges of concrete barriers, on Crysis 1 you can't

in Crysis 2 objects like containers and metal plates bend inwards when you shoot at them, on crysis 1 then don't change when you shoot at them

in Crysis 2, concrete beams found in parking lot and many other places are destructible, on crysis 1 no

boxes can not be completely broken, which destructible? There is not even in physics itself, but in how it operates on gameplay and feel of the game. "Do not cut away" the trees, impenetrable veneer sheets, and catastrophically indestructible concrete blocks breaking not only the "feeling of freedom, " but the overall atmosphere of the game - bumping into these conventions, we begin to feel "cardboard" scenery surrounding us

Physics isn't bad in Crysis for a 4 year old game guys...

The tree physics is especially impressive - although only certain trees can be cut -.-

fail.

Because they don't need to make all trees destructible in C2 since there is way more things to destroy, in C1 you can wipe almost all trees (few building + some furniture) because there is nothing else than trees do destroy.

1. There are non-drivable, broken down cars in Crysis 1 with very removable doors, hood, and trunk. They have hinges too. All wheels can be popped, even when driving.

2. Most wheels in Crysis 2 cannot be popped. Certainly not while driving, which ruins the fun of popping wheels in the first place. The only somewhat destructible cars are the non-drivable ones. No hinges though.

3. Most of the Trees in Crysis 2 cannot be destroyed, whereas in Crysis 1 most can, and with bending branches too.

4. Agreed. Destructible concrete is not present in Crysis 1. Though it'd be nice if the pieces that do come off in Crysis 2 wouldn't despawn immediately, minimizing the rubble factor. Same goes for the concrete beams.

5. Bending objects are a nice feature in Crysis 2. Wish they'd apply that effect to more things like they showed in the demos

On another note: are you MAD? Remember the wonderfully destructible courrogated tin shacks in Crysis 1 that were full of physicalized furniture and objects? Every loose object in Crysis 1 was physicalized.

Crysis 2 has a ton of cardboard boxes that aren't even movable. How hard would it be to replace these with ones that at least use some solid body physics?

We want MOAR BETTER physics and destructible environments THAN CRYSIS 1. or at least match it. there i fixed it. a four year old game beat a 2011 game. technologically and awesomenessly. i dont conprehend the logic

there was lot of destruction in the preview builds. But since crytek wants to make money by selling games for dvd players, they removed it, even from pc.

You want CrEAtek to rework whole the game for free just to save "honor"? Haha forget it. By preparing 4 pitty map for 10 bucks CrEAtek proove they have no honor but lust of money

I completely agree. The physics in this game are absolutely terrible. All the physical objects disappear instantly, and there aren't many physical objects to begin with.
