3D mode in Crysis 2 - will it be in future patches?

Post » Fri Dec 31, 2010 10:22 am

as we know Crysis 2 have no real full 3D support. all we have in this game is cutted version of 3D mode to make consoles possible to work in 3D with no dramatic FPS drop
as PC user i don't care of consoles problems, i have powerfull PC and NVidia 3D Vision Kit and i would like to see Crysis 2 in REAL 3D instead of poor fake
so the question is simple: is there any plans to add full 3D support into the game?
thank you!

Okay really people stop assuming it is because of consoles!

Apparently you have not play GT5 in 3d. it is by far the most AMAZING 3D ever seen in a video game PERIOD.

Also there maybe a patch, apparently James Cameron was diluted enough to think the Crysis 2 3d was amazing so i dont expect anything.

it seems CrEAtek have no answer for this question?
or the answer "no, we think to leave fake 3D as is?"
developers communicating is quite amaizing..

I dont think they would patch anything in 3d.
Summarize all the bugs that are present.... its like they would need to write this game from a scratch.

Pardon me, but you didn't get the point regarding this matter. Nobody is insulting 3D on consoles: as far as I'm concerned, Crysis 2 3D may really look great on PS3 and F-Box, but the implementation developed by Crytek, which is the same for all three platforms, is not * euphemism* fully compatible with 3D Vision, which happens to be the only real 3D system PC has. Since 3D was advertised as one of the strongest features in Crysis 2, we, the PC users, would like to have a proper implementation of it. That's all.
