Okay so idk if this has been asked or clarified already but i know that in crysis the sandbox editor was on the disk and you had to install it from there. I was wondering if you get crysis 2 through steam will there be a way to get the sandbox editor???

if crysis2 comes with sandbox n whatnot
it should come with the steam files
if for some reason it cant be attached to steam
i am sure crytek would have another way for us to get it

If you brought Crysis 1/Wars on steam you could get Sandbox2 from the files you downloaded, it was in one of the directories. If Sandbox3 comes out with Crysis 2 it will be the same.
