Agreed. The fact that I intend to buy this on console apparantly makes some users incredibly angry to the point that I dont understand it. I just want to play a game, and a game that I KNOW will be amazing. No matter where you play it. I am still yet to find the perfect community for a game, but if we could just accept that we're all going to buy the same thing and not be twats all the time, we'd get along much better.

You're not buying the same thing. You're buying a console version of a game that would have been considerably different and closer to the original Crysis had there been no console version. I'm still looking forward to Crysis 2 a ton, but there's no denying that the game would have been very different, and probably a lot closer to the original, if consoles hadn't been brought into the mix. There is a very good reason people are pissed about Crysis 2 being brought to consoles (there's in fact quite a few topics on this forum about it), and it pisses most of us off when console gamers try to tell us that we have no valid reason for being upset.

Yeah, many thanks to Crytek for making great games. I thoroughly enjoyed the ones I have played.. I was really pumped for this one, but the limitation to 6 on 6 has made this a no go for me. Thats just not a big enough lobby to play with friends. People keep comparing it to Gears multiplayer, but you have to realize Gears multiplayer svcked, it did well because the single player was good and the co-op was fun. I'm sure the game will be great, and if there is ever an expansion, or a patch that makes for bigger battles I might pick it up. Until then, I hope it does well.
