Got the DLC? Wanna play it? Join this Steamgroup.

Shameless plug!

If you have the DLC and you're interested in actually playing it for a change, join the Steam Group I made not an hour ago. The point of the group is for players to band together and kickstart DLC servers by joining at the same time, effectively seeding them for the Quick Match feature. It worked back when servers would stop working randomly during the first few weeks of the game for Crysis 2 Ranked Players group (run by Scynix, a friend of mine through Crysis 2).

If you didn't see the link hidden in the words 'Steam Group' above, an easier to click link is available here: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/Cry2DLC

Have Steam but don't have Crysis 2 on Steam?
No problem!

By following these easy steps, you'll be on your way to having Crysis 2 on your Steam:
Step 1: Open Steam.
Step 2: Go to your Library.
Step 3: Click the Add a Game button
Step 4: Select the Add a Non-Steam Game option
Step 5: Select Crysis 2 from the list.

Now, when you decide to boot up Crysis, do so by right clicking the Steam icon in your computer's tray. (The location with icons next to your computer's clock [Windows only; I don't have knowledge of other Operation Systems). Doing so will add the Steam overlay to your game, which you can access by holding Shift and pressing Tab. Press Tab while holding Shift again to return to the game.

Don't have Steam?
That's a shame. To make use of this group, you'll need it. Visit http://www.steampowered.com to create an account and download it. Then follow the step provided in the second post to add your Crysis 2 to Steam. Then click the link in the first post to join the Crysis 2 DLC Players group.

The idea is that we add each other to our friends' lists with a note about who they are. We also enter them as friends in game, and squad up. Then the squad leader finds a server that has DLC content on it, and we enter together. It takes 4 people to seed a server for quick match, as well as requiring 4 players to become a ranked server if it's running the 1 player minimum, or to start at all if it's not.

Problem is that when I try to play by joining a server, my connection drops after a 10-20 seconds of playing. I tryed many servers; it's happening all the time. The only way it's working for me is by quick join.
I will give it a try and follow you where you play, maybe a miracle will happen.

Update. We're currently situated at 10 people. This is enough to get servers going during peak hours/over night USA. More people would be appreciated. :3 I promise you'll get to play the DLC for at least a few hours before Tuesday comes next week, if you join!
