No don't have paypal wallet. And don't want any. Using a webmoney, cause paypal isn't good choice, for me.
Not many people use Webmoney, so it won't be profitable for them to add WM as a payment source. Paypal on the other hand is used by millions of people worldwide.
Who Uses WebMoney?
WebMoney is like a Russian PayPal. It has become an integral part of Russian online business within the last decade, mainly because WebMoney is one of the few payment systems that survived in the rough Russian market and is still well-protected from multiple attacks of online hackers. Another reason of WebMoney’s success in Russia is relative inaccessibility of other world-wide payment systems. PayPal applies a number of restrictions to its users from Russia, which means that Russian PayPal users cannot receive online transfers. They can only send one. A WebMoney transfer can go both ways. You are free to send, receive and exchange currencies.
There are several categories of people that use WebMoney regularly:
Russian Freelancers
Now many Russian professionals, website masters, graphic designers, translators, writers, or advertisers who offer online services use WebMoney to do business with their clients. It is convenient to make a WebMoney transfer to receive money in Russia in a fast and safe manner.
Russian Companies
You would be surprised how many companies that offer online products and services use WebMoney as a primary payment option. Even though they pay 0.8% per each WebMoney transfer within the system, companies still find WebMoney cheaper and easier to use than other online payment systems.
People from Different Countries
Many individuals that do business with Russian companies and purchase products in Russia use WebMoney. If you are planning to open a WebMoney account just for the fun of it, don’t. First of all, this system has a number of security measures which you need to follow in order to open an account. Besides if you are not going to use it in the Russian market, why bother – you won’t be able to use it for anything else. However, if you do business with Russian partners, use Russian online services or even get paid by a Russian company, having an active WebMoney account will save you from a lot of trouble trying to figure our how to send and receive payments in the Russian Net.
So... That makes clear to you that many Russians are using webmoney? Cause paypal is not good for them. Like the situation with me.
