Weird... This morning, I was playing C2 Multiplayer then after an hour, I couldn't log in anymore. This fixed my problem although I haven't changed any settings today <_<.

Crytek, the main issue with multiplayer connectivity has some connection to Crysis 2 being considered as another machine or user sharing. Idk... just fix the damn buggy game.

Eh what's up with high pings? I have checked - it is not a problem on my end as other games have stable good pings around 30-40 ms but around in Crysis the best I get is usually 300 ms. Does anyone have this as well?

*READ PLEASE*
if you get disconnected every time and you have a dlink router, then this should work for you (worked for me).
Go to your dlink router settings, select ADVANCED - then select FIREWALL SETTINGS - on the UDP and TCP you set to "endpoint independent"
apply changes and it should work for you.
please spread the message if this worked for you too....

Hey all.....hi Crytek staff...!

Another bad post of me.....

So what the **** is going here.....still not solved "Connectivity Problem" ?

What is going on there with ur Master Servers? Yesterday Germantime 11:00 till 13:00 clock....NO Login is possible!!!!

So dont tell me its a Problem of me as a Client....or its fault of my Router or anything! Its Problem of the HOUSE CRYTEK!

Your Master Server disallowed any connections......isnt it the Reason?
Or why i can now connect without a Problem? I did nothing changed......

Thx God i dont play MP so it no real Problem at all for ME....but for so much other Players it is....

Please do something.....

Thank You....bye

Hey everyone, I managed to find this link regarding Gamespy and Linksys routers. I can't try it yet myself (have to dig up my password and cable internet details), but I thought it might be worth looking into for those who can modify their settings now. If Necrosado's trick works for others, post your results here. The more confirmations of success we post here, the better the chances of getting a patch that would resolve the issue.

Go to your desktop and double click on Internet Explorer (Located on the Start Menu in Windows XP)

2. When "Internet Explorer" opens type http://192.168.1.1 into the "Address" bar and click on Go or [Enter].

3. The "Enter Network Password" window will appear.

4. Skip the user name and type admin (admin is the default password) as the password, and click OK

5. Click on the Advanced tab.

6. Click on the Forwarding tab.

7. Click on the Port Triggering button, and a new window will appear. You will need Input Game Spy as the “Application Name” and ports 6500 and 6700 as both the “Triggered” and “Incoming Port Ranges.”

Application Name Triggered Port Range Incoming Port Range

Game Spy 6500 ~ 6700 6500 ~ 6700
8. Click Apply and then Continue.

For most users, This won't apply, As C2 will either have already been added as an exception to the firewall (either windows or automatic portforwarding), The user will have setup their machine to be in the DMZ, Or they wont have a router at all.

I am in the DMZ, And up until about 10 minutes prior to this post, Ive been able to login and play without issue.

Now, Upon opening C2 and trying to login, I get a message saying "can not connect to multiplayer" bla bla bla. It cant be a connectivity issue, Since I'm able to post this from the very same machine, On the very same net connection.

And what a surprise !!

No Statement or information from Crytek.

to get a graphics card back from RMA, works faster than to get a answer from the company i payed 50 bucks for a Beta-dx9 demo game.

i m extremly pissed

I finally managed to get connected and play a few matches yesterday.

I'm not a believer in correlation = causation, but this took place after I replaced McAfee Enterprise with Microsoft Security Essentials.

The account I logged in with was the same one I made during the week gamesas was launched.

I'm also having the connectivity problem. I tried the thing where we go to deselect the sharing the network with other computer, but the problem is that I had already deselected it. If anyone has anything new besides this, it would be great.

Well considering that the entire internet is going to TCP/IP v6 and you are disabling it that is not really a very bright solution.

Much like going back to v4 when 90% of the world is moving to v6. This is a major problem if THIS is the fix.
