So apparently a rendering engineer revealed that Crytek will be releasing a free SDK during the summer. This is good because that means there will be an enormous chance that Crytek will be releasing the map editor as well.

This means that even if the demo was crappy to some, it doesn't even matter cus there will be mods/maps being released. Right?

Someone confirm this cus I don't know that much about this stuff...

Pretty cool if true, Crytek must realize that the game they made isn't what people want to see done with the engine. (which is beyond me as I've always wanted to see an amazing city environment and that is what we're getting)

Curious to see how the modding community reacts to this.
