Crysis 2 needs prone.

Prone slows the game down? GOOD!

I can only speak for myself. I loved the spacious maps in CrysisWars. I prefer a game of stealth and patience. One shot, one kill. I know dying in a video game doesn't hurt at all. Still, I think it's a bad thing. I know some would be happy with a kill/death ratio of 30/15. I'd rather go 20/0. And to me, nothing is more fun than going head to head with other snipers. Being able to ninja and strength punch one in the back of the head as he looks through his scope, trying to find me. Slow, meticulous strategy. You can have your run n gun. Spray n pray, right?

This is the problem whether or not you think prone should be in the game the original Crysis had prone. So this one should have it as well. When you make a sequel you dont want to take things away you just want to add to make the sequel better. Strength punch, gone speed, gone this is not crysis its another game altogether with the nano suit. I believe when you make a sequel to a game that had features in the game that help define the game you would want to keep those core features. Crysis 2 has taken away core features that made the original crysis so much fun like strength punch, prone, huge maps, more than 6 on 6 MP, and maximum speed.

well i would like prone its great for those times u are defending a crash site of a flag or trying to out snipe the camper in the middle of the map and yes there still is camping in this game infect theres alot of it

so yes plz put prone it it helps when u want to be stealthy

i would like to have prone pees me off when i cant prone when u dont have it it takes a good aspects of games when u cant prone so yes plz for the love of god lets us prone bc2 is crap with out pron a sniper prones thats all there is to it a real sniper in real life prones they dont stand there out in the open to get shot

tldr: I need prone so someone can pee on me while I he is proning :)

Prone is not important because you can be spotted quickly in C2 anyway. Just a thought.

I like and I also dislike prone. Prone isn't absent because of consoles, it can very well be done at consoles (just look at Call of Duty). It's a gameplay thing....the proning with Crysis 2's style of pace and urge to have the player use the nanosuit doesn't fit in. BC2...if there was proning, it really would make A BIG difference and rather an annoying one.

Prone is fun because you feel tactical, have good cover, and can get into small areas. That's the good part. The bad part is drop shotting, slowing the pace of gameplay, and promoting camping.

IMO, I think it's good it's not in Crysis 2.....well at least for multiplayer. I think that every fps game's single player campaign should have prone tho........

Crysis 2 probably needs a lot of things, but lets start with the most needed. Proning. It really feels bad that you cannot prone. Run and gun isnt' everything. Sometimes, I want to prone behind some good cover while I think things out. And we will definitely want it later for bigger maps.

No it doesn't. Do you want this to be just as n00bish as CoD? So whenever you see a guy in front of you and you start shooting first and then he jumps into prone and you die first?

It was useful in Warhead due to the large maps. This game has smaller maps and prone is gone to make this less n00b friendly.
