As I went through Crysis 2 I used Steam's screenshot function to take pics of stunning views through the game. After beating it, I set it as a Desktop background rotation on Windows 7. The game's lighting is just beautiful, the way it cascades through trees, around corners, the sharp crisp shadows, detail, everything is stunning.

All the complaining about the graphics is a very conceded one. The game looks amazing. Ya its not the next GIANT leap on graphics, but what it does graphically no other game can match. It really is a beauty to behold. I look at the sidewalk and see a tree's perfect shadow casted and it really takes me away on how realistic the lighting is.

I can only imagine what DX11 will bring next. Its a true masterpiece of gaming art that needs to be appreciated.

Who the hell gives a flying ****? It's the best looking game on console. Automatically there you have it looking better than 99% of other games. Only thing to beat it really is Crysis, and MAYBE Metro 2033 in DX11.

There are a lot of games on the PC that are on par with Crysis 2. However the original Crysis is still unmatched.
