Well if we look back at Crysis 1 and it's patches then one could surmise that the new version has already gotten all the patches it will ever get.
Crytek, once a projected is completed, tend to move on rather quickly and as they have a new game (a console game at that) to get to release then it could be a while before anything relating to Crysis 2 appears...
This.
I keep looking here every week or so for some news regarding patches and whatnot so I might get some more action for the money, but other than that I utterly lost interest. Crysis 2 just didn't live up to what was promised in any way. The graphics are nice, but you only see half of it due to the poor draw distance settings and the oh-so-magical blur PostMSAA. SP Gameplay is ok, too. But it is nowhere near fullfilling its legacy or the stuff promised.
Crytek just is not the type of dev that -really- keeps supporting its stuff. Besides fixing the most critical errors what is done is more of an excuse.
I paid 10 bucks for magicka. I have had way more fun-per-minute with it, still having it. Those dudes are devs that care AND bleed their genius into the game.
Also: I am SOOOOOO happy Witcher 2 is there. Nuff said.
I miss the times where simply beating a game gave you the feeling of accomplishment instead of giving you an "achievement" that tells you that you have to feel good about yourself when you actually think "well... meh...".
