Occasionally I'll come across a player who shoots non-automatic weapons extremely fast, such as pistols and especially shotguns. They seem to have the ability to kill people with shotguns from an extra ordinary distance in a single shot. Is this just the result of the crappy kill cams, or are they cheating in some way?

As for pistols like Nova, it can shoot really fast and ahve good accuracy even on long rage, also Jackal have high fire rate, but is accurate only in semi-mid/clos range. If you get killed and kill cam shows that dude is sitting across the map from place where you got shoot, and he have like shotgun, then you can be sure that something is not right.

I know the Jackal can shoot fast, but for select players it appears as 1 shot on the kill cam every time. I was on a server last night and there was a guy that multiple people noticing they were being shotgunned from unusually far away, even without me saying anything. I didn't know if the he is using some kind of cheap to rapid fire the shotgun, which would explain how that guy could kill from a distance in what looks like just one shot.

The killcam is in Beta stage. Sounds not working. Recoil aint showing etc. These are known issues.

If he was far from you and shoot you with shotgun then he probably was aimboting, especially when more people start to notice something and yell @ chat.
