I have Windows 7 Pro x64, which comes with DirectX11 (of course). I am told that it should be backward compatable, but when I bought the game, I spent some time snooping around some Crysis 2 sites, and I think I read something about CirectX 9c. That I think was saying I still needed to do some things in this area.

Does anyone know where this info might be? ot if you know what I am speaking about, please guide me.

I have recently realized that this is not a great place for someone to actually get a little help for this game. For that, I am truely sorry. I should have read more posts to get a feel for the type of community was here. I possibly should have gotten familar with the admins as well.

Just an FYI: Most know that signatures are a mainstay in many/most forum communities. The text graphics that are afixed to my avater are not copy/pasted. They are a part of the normal, basic keyboard for the PC's. Like the letter "l" and such. I have used them since 1987. DOS/MS has these for legacy sake, but do nothing but and a stil to my avatar. It does not do any more harm than the lett "l".

They can be removed by the admin of the forum software using the utilies available. If one is going to make a rule such as this, it seems best to not just but it in an Rules or FAQ file, and just put a blurb somewhere. Most by pass this file. The admin can put it up and make paricular attention to the rules that many will not think be in there, as this signature rule. Having it is fine.

These are directives that go against what most are using out there. Aw, but it's ok though. Plenty to go around out there and games or just a passing diversion for me. I am not anywhere near an adict. You need not respond, as I shant reply any futher...ever.
