I'm registered on gamesas.com- but when I enter the SAME user name and password in the demo that works for the website, it doesn't work. It just goes back to the same login screen. Any ideas?

Same problem. Demo just returns to login screen without any error messages.
May be game uses some ports that need to be opened?

Its cause the bastards at Crytek arent giving a **** about the PC demo, if your smart, dont buy this game, cause Crytek is a PoS company in my eyes now, they have ruined the battlefield type combat from the first crysis, and made it into this Call of Duty from the future crap. And btw, game balance is horribad, guy with the shotgun always wins

I take it the Administrators aren't really watching forum, not one admin reply. leads me to believe they know about the issue but don't care if only a few people are affected. Too bad would have bought both the PS3 and PC versions, now the PC version is out of the question lets see how the Demo goes with the PS3.

I'm also having the same problem, i try logging in with my gamesas account and it's not having any of it, i just want to know that sooner or later I will be able to use my username, I really just want to play by the name 'Blackers' nothing else, since i hate having to change my username due to it already being used by someone else usernames with numbers and other stuff. this is the first game account that I have had with the name 'Blackers' i have always wanted jut that, for other games I have to use 'Blackers(UK)' or 'B1ackers' and it just seems cheep, I just want a solid name, one that stands out. I just soooo hope they fix this... i want to log in via gamesas, and not GameSpy, since GameSpy is a load of Crap

there could be some other reasons why they dont read the forums if they know the issue
they might have problems fixing it

Same thing (always), it just give people a HUGE stay away vibe and Crysis a black eye. I'm not going to drop $59.99 on a game that consists of a revolving login screen, that may or may NOT work on release day. If they're gunho to release a demo that's unreliable, I'll wait until a few "after release" patches before I consider opening my wallet.
