We all know that wouldn't work..

Imagine having: C.E.L.L, Marines and Ceph all fighting one another (yes, the Ceph would be using human weapons) on the same map. Apparently the Ceph have some nano tech (or I recall that in the campaign you can use some nanostuff (collected from Ceph, maybe) to upgrade your suit) and even if they didn't in the campaign, MP doesn't entirely fit into the main story (such as in Crysis 1 the multiplayer maps were all over the world with crashed Ceph and MM (McTiller/McMiller Martin) had developed prototype Ceph weapons) so it could take place slightly later, once the Ceph have created their own nanosuits. Humans could have certain tag-streaks (Radar, C-Radar, Nanosuit Jammer, Attack Helicopter etc.) and the Ceph would have things like a 3 tag-streak that drains the energy from all your enemies' suits and distributes it amongst your teammates.

That would however require more work than the current setup so it dun will be happening.

well I was hoping for the Cephs being like the Dinos in the last Turok...a hostile 3d party that will fight both CELL and Marines if they attract their attention
