Weapon customization: PC vs XBox

Post » Fri Jun 03, 2011 4:20 am

So on the PC version weapons are customized much like they were in Crysis 1; the player kind of holds the gun up in front of the HUD and you can make all sorts of selections like semi auto, different attachments etc. Will the console version have as much customization options? Obviously the Xbox controller is much more limited and you can't use a mouse to click on different areas of the gun. How does this work on consoles? I'll be upset if I can't always put my SCAR in semi auto

watch the Roadrage trailer and the "Gamespot: now playing" special. Yes the Console version has all that...

here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aal8Gupu4cU you can see one of the customization screens right there

in the gamespot special Nathan says he wishes he could showcase a few more upgrades but the guy playing the game had not unlocked them yet (yes the guy was playing the 360 version)...he also says his favorite upgrade is a sight upgrade for the sniper rifle to turn it into a deadly close range weapon

Ever used the Tab button (on the keyboard) to jump from link to link on a webpage? I believe it'll be like that, but with the ability to go up too (control stick). That's how they usually do it in console games.
