Crysis 2 (Xbox 360) and Online Multiplayer Question.

Post » Thu Jun 02, 2011 5:17 pm

Hey all,

First post in the forums so I hope I got this one in the right place.

Before I move onto my question though I'd just like to congratulate the developers of Crysis 2. After playing the demo I have come away very impressed with the potential for the game and am certainly eagerly awaiting release so that I can get my teeth into the full game. (I very rarely get impressed)

My question is: In the final Xbox 360 game will players be matched up against other players in their own region for online play? (In my instance that is the UK)

Obviously I am hoping that the game will find me the optimal environment in which to play matches with a minimum of latency and lag.

Does anybody know the answer to this question?

Thanks...

I'm assuming the 360 version just uses the standard xbox 360 matchmaking. So you should be matched up fairly well. That doesn't mean people wont start throttling their connections ect. when they know they're host :p

Probably same garbage matchmaking.... Why don't they go back to user controlled Non-dedicated/Dedicated servers like Rainbow six vegas. At least then you know who will be hosting on you.
