Hey peeps,

I just wanna know what keyboard layouts do you use for Crysis 2? Lately I'm getting fed up of assigning the 'Use' key to be Alt, in order that I can melee with 'F'.

For me, aside form the keys aforementioned:

WASD move
Q for Armor
E for Cloak
Tab for nanovision
Left Ctrl for Toggle Crouch (tho I find Powersliding hard to do)
C for Customising weapon in SinglePlayer mode
P for killstreak awards (I use Logitech LS1 scroll button left tilt)
Z for change fire mode (again with LS1 mouse but with right tilt)

...and I cba to list to list the rest

So I ask once again, to break some ice, do post your keyboard layouts in this thread

Get a DeathAdder mouse, or one similar, it has two buttons on the side, i use them for crouch and run.

I melee with middle mouse button.

Flippin' heck, that DeathAdder does cost quite a fortune for a mouse! That said, your melee choice is interesting. I should add that clicking my middle mouse button means i get into Tactical visor mode

I've got a generic keyboard.. some crappy pile of sh*t.. And a Logitech Performance MX -- not gaming gear -- I know...

anyway,

WASD - Move
Q - Armor
E - Cloak
R / Middle Mouse Button - Reload [Prefer Mouse Button]
Left Shift - Sprint
Left Ctrl / Mouse Forward Button - Melee [Prefer Mouse Button]
F - Use
C / Mouse App Switch Button - Crouch (Toggle)/Slide [Prefer Mouse Button]
B / Mouse Zoom Button - Visor
T / Mouse Back Button - Nano Vision [Prefer Mouse Button]
Space - Jump
2 \ Mouse Wheel Left - Fire mode switch [Prefer Mouse Button]
P \ Mouse Wheel Right - Bonus Support [Prefer Mouse Button]
Scroll Up - Explosive
Scroll Down - Sidearm
Tab - Score

I think thats it.. works pretty well for me..

For a while I played with default keys to Nanovision and binos, then by mapping Nanovision to my scroll-wheel clicker and Binos to Tab I no longer feel like I'm leaving myself open when I switch either of them on anymore. Though there is the annoying accidental press of Tab when I want to shift into armour mode, allowing the enemy I've just encountered to fill me with lead.

Still an improvement to me though!

All standard keys.
One side mouse button for Nanovision because every time i went to hit N i'd actually hit B and bring up my binocs... and i'd end up dead, looking at the floor!

I sort of tried to keep it similar to the good ol' suit buttons.
Ahhh. I remember nice good ol' days on Crysis, and Crysis warhead when I was just so happening to look a cute little chicken, or something and I go to pick it up... and I pressed G..... WHHHHYYY!!! It killed the chicken..... :C and mah self.
Ahhh. the good G button..... always gets me.

I use T for Nanovision and 4 for Killstreaks and Mouse Button 4 (on the left hand side) for melee. The rest as normal.

I forgot that just yesterday i started using nano-vision more, so i put it on the middle mouse button and moved melee to 'f', use item is 'shift key'.
i don't use the visor much in MP, but i've not long been playing all the same, that's set to 'v', suit mode 'b'.

Nanovision/Visor are bound to the two side buttons on my mouse.

I think everything else is default.

This next part is serious Vapus.
I use Cyborg R.A.T 7 mouse. Works very well for this game.
Has 4 easy to use keys for your thumb + a sniper button. (Don't really use the sniper key much)

Thumb wheel up = Nano Vision
Thumb Wheel down = Binocs
Forward key = Melee
Backwards key = swap to pistol
Middle wheel = Grenade

Keyboard keys are pretty much default.

A lot of people have said, sprint on shift and crounch on ctrl. I thought that too, but i realized it can't be because you won't be able to do the slide.

Yeah, I have the standard ones and I always had to look at the keyboard to hit "N" but now I have it set to one of my mouse controls to do nano vision.

Seems to do the trick as my thumb is always on it ready for me to use it.

Everything except nanovision and 'nades - standard.
