This may sound like a dumb question, but will it be possible to play the online modes and maps in a single player vs AI mode? I ask because I like to practice and learn the maps playing where my game stats are not affected in anyway. In addition on the product page it says under multiplayer that it supports 1 to 12 players.

I don't know, but are you talking about a mode like the Spec Ops mode on CoD MW2?

More like botzone from Killzone 3, where one can play a multiplayer map and mode where everyone else (enemy and teammates) are bots. You do not earn any exp points for the mode but it allows people to learn the maps and try out tactics without hurting their stats. I know during the first Xbox360 beta I got owned becouse by the time I got on the people already knew the maps to the point they ran circles around me.
