Have we all forgotten about this?

In this screenshot we can clearly see what crysis 2 SHOULD look like maxed out on the PC, and it shows us at least at one point it did look this good. The textures and lighting are far beyond anything we've seen in any demos or trailers, or really anything else Crytek has released for this game. Also, I'm assuming this is directx 9 only as well, so i really can't imagine these kinds of visuals with added directx 11 support would look like. So did Crytek decide to tone it down since E3, or will the final PC version really look like this?

Well pick one.
It's either what it should look like maxed out, or what it should look like without even being maxed out.

All I see is a extremely old, fairly low-res screenshot that was probably pre-rendered and edited to look nice. In what way is that better than what we've seen now from the new videos/screenshots?

this is actualy kinda pathetic compared to the full power of the CryEngine 3 used on Crysis 2
