Crysis and Crysis Warhead are the 2 best PC shooters out there - this time however I really want to give Crysis 2 a shot on my PS3. Before I preorder - I just need to know - is there a control option to aim/shoot with the L2/R2 triggers because like a lot of other PS3 owners with big hands - I just cannot use the L1/R1 bumpers for aim/shoot. I have had problems with other EA games like MOH and BCBF2 that for some reason did not give this controls option and ended have to sell them and purchase for my PC instead. If someone can confirm the controls options in advance - that would be great so I know which platform to buy for.

There hasnt been revealed anything related to the PS3 Version of Crysis 2.. that includes a controlscheme.
The only thing that has been said several times is that the consoleversions will be almost similiar..

Crytek should give PS3 gamers all the controller options that are available to play crysis 2 on PS3 which is a dual shock 3 controller,playstation move & playstation navigator & keyboard & mouse.

because i believe in the play anyway play anytime play anywhere approach to games regardless of platform or weather in single player or co-op or multi-player.

Indeed, unfortunately the only platform which allows freedom with regards to inputs is the PC :/

Nothing has been revealed regarding PS3 controls or if you guys can remap the buttons to your liking.

nothing has been revealed for ps3 besides a tiny video showing off the engine that is all that has been shown for the ps3

PS3 has keyboard & mouse support in games & the playstation move & playstation navigator support should be breeze to include which is the way i want play crysis 2 not a dualshock 3 controller.

Indeed, but for various strange reasons no one ever allows console players variety in what they can do. Suppose it makes them money somehow.

That's pretty lame because they would sell so many more copies of crysis 2 on PS3 if they gave players more controller options to play crysis 2 on PS3 but oh well it's crytek's loss after all.

looks like its gonna be the PC version for me - the demo only has aim/shoot with L1/R1 - what a shame - very disappointed
