Will Singleplayer Run as Well as Multiplayer for PC?

Post » Thu Jun 02, 2011 8:02 pm

Hey guys,

I had a great time on the the PC multiplayer demo, but now one thing I want to make sure of is if the singleplayer campaign will run as smoothly as multiplayer did.
I ask this considering that I don't have the most high-end system, and I was surprised that multiplayer ran with no lag on my machine on decent settings; will this translate the same for singleplayer?
I assume the environments of singleplayer will be more graphically intensive, so is it possible that it'll take significantly more out of my computer to the point that the game lags?

Thanks!

Not to mention games always run better in single player since the computer doesn't have to do as much work dealing with all the data packets coming in from the inter-webs.

The crysis 2 demo ran with 80 fps on hardcoe and 1920 x 1080p resolution on my 580gtx.
the game will be dope and if it's as awesomely good optimized as the multplayer the singleplayer will run like just as sweet!
