This seems to be a common feeling amongst people who don't know anything about game development. Just adding in features is 'easy'. New game mechanics, new cheat protection, new APIs, balancing is all just 'easy', just write a few lines of code right.
It's not easy, trust me.
I don't see why would you imply that I know nothing about game development, since I am a programmer. This fix would require a distance check (upon returning a relay) and a timer check, with the timer starting upon picking a relay. It requires nothing of what you mentioned above.
