Hi there,

Sorry but Crysis 2 does not support cross-platform multiplayer so PC vs PC, PS3 vs PS3 or 360 vs 360.

Cheers!

Can ANY game do that?

The new Mechwarrior (when it comes out in like 2085, lol) is supposedly able to do that.

^Wait what. How can a MW game be played with a gamepad? The series has a longer controls list than my height + 20 cm.

SOME Microsoft PC games can play against xbox players
if the PC game version says "Windows Live" on the box

but it tends to creat more problems
than its worth

From what I've heard, Shadowrun's MP turned out terrible because PC gamers were smearing the walls with console players. It's a formula for disaster. The upcoming Portal 2 has cross-platform play but it's not competitive, only two player co-op. So if you're on the PC, you can play co-op with you friend on the PS3.
