****'em up Crytek. IGN is one of the most biased review sites in existence and they're the worst article writers ever. Have you seen Greg Millers written review for Dead Space 2? An elementary student could have written a better essay than that crap. They have no credibility whatsoever.

Of course Nathan Camarillo has to say he doesn't see any differences between the 360 and PS3.

while ign isnt the most reputable game site, heading over the ps3 demo forum will pretty much validate ign's criticisms.

Crytek CEO Cevat said

"best looking game on each platform"
"maxed out PS3"
"pushed boundary on each platform"
"PC gaming is very important"

One word... Are you joking?

Honestly IGN should have waited for the full game to come out before doing any kind of graphical comparison.

Lol, I consider IGN nothing more than a giant joke, biased reviews just pop up every where and the gameplays they select for their "top" whatever-game kills are horrible.

The only reason I subbed to their youtube was Jessica Chobot, lol

IGN has been IGFail as of late last year with their so called "PC" review for AvP being nothing but copy/pasta of their 360 review.
They are nothing but shame as of late.

"Enjoy your new found power, For one day it will be reclaimed"-Hargreave
I think that statement follows along with IGN as of late. They are just loosing what they had.

Gamespot did that too a few years ago. Be damned if I remember the game, though.

Difference or none between PS3 & 360: the demo, or game, looks crap. It's like the game has been stretched so much it has lost clarity. It plays smoothly, but wow the graphics are indeed an eyesore for me. The PC version looks far superior.

It's SO grainy that it becomes out of focus.

its kinda sad how many hoops a developer has to go through to patch a console. first, they gotta get permission from SONY and those behind PSN, then they have to make it available to everyone. so after developing a patch, Crytek is forced to go through alot of legal BS just to get it out to the people for download

I dont see any contradictions in what Cevat said about the consoles and Crysis 2 as multiplatform game.
It looks amazing on the PC.. its modable so that the grfx will be pushed even further than in the normal release.. what else do you want?
The consoles on the other hand get the versions that they can handle and thats why a large scaled tropical island was out of the question as a possible scenario for Crysis 2. But hey.. a devasted NY City is not often used as a setting for a videogame.
What i really would like to know is: Would a remade Crysis 1 on Cryengine 3 look as good as the original but with better performance?

IGN (Aye-Jee-En)

Noun;

To provide gaming information, as well as providing biased reviews/ previews to the
developers/ console manufacturers etc. who pay the most money.

See: Unjustified, Ignorant

You can't spell IGNORANT without IGN.
