How do you perform a spectre kill in Crysis 2? : Crysis

I've been playing the Crysis 2 demo and I've performed a specter kill a couple times. When I've done it I snuck up behind them and hit them. But sometimes that doesn't work! I've tried that way multiple times but it has only worked twice. So, is there a special thing you have to do or what?

Also, can I change my profile name? Because I don't want "0009000006316013" as my name

You need to be cloaked for it to work properly, I found this out the hard way :/

Pop stealth > get behind enemy > stick spoon in his throat > DONE.

You have to be invisible and be behind him. Then press the melee attack button.
If you're not close enough you will just decloak and lose all your energy.
