what settings you all using for the consoles? ie, sharpness,brightness,contrast and what ever else.

i have a samsung LED full 1080p 46" and i just have it on game mode
with sharpness at 50/100
contrast at 95/100
brightness 45/100
colour 50/100
tint 50/50

I use to work at a high end AV store and am ISF certified. Video adjustments are very important but to really fine tune a TV without ISF calibration tools you need test patterns from a dvd or bluray like from DVE essentials. Most TV's dont "bloom/Clip" in the contrast up to 100. Color temp should almost always be warm , sharpness as low as possible , video mode on cinema / movie and brightness till the darkest black's become their blackest. Turn all the DNR , Contrast enhance and all that extra crap off , it just skew's the native contrast of the panel and modifies the original image. If you need more help P/M me.
