I saw something on the Internet today which I don't liked,that Crysis 2 will not have DX11 support please tell me if it is true.I wanted to buy the game but if its true about DX11 i don't going to buy it

He also said there would be an announcement soon, but nothing as yet.

Many people don't really understand why dx11 is so important. A proper implementation of dx11 will give you a VERY significant boost in performance AT THE SAME QUALITY settings as dx9 or dx10. There is such a comparison made for stalker and i know i've seen some other game. Extra graphics quality? Whatever, it's welcomed. But all those ppl that have dx11 graphics card, no matter how weak they are, won't benefit for the improved performance gains of dx11 ...

It's not your place to tell people on what basis they should purchase goods. And it certainly doesn't reflect on his mental health it's just a preference and 90% of gamers have it thats why you have things like the lens of truth.

Indeed, until graphics are perfect (and they're a long way off that) people will always be wanting better

I have serious trust issues with Nvidia now.

I m not a graphics freak but if i buy this game with 60$ i expect to be beter not a stupid console port,i don't pay for that.If it will be a patch verry good but i read on a site that DX11 patch will be a DLC and wil cost...if thats the case i pass

And now i reminded something,they said the PC graphics will be beter than consoles until now of what i saw in videos and demo they are the same

It might even imply that a lot of work still has to be done on DX11, because otherwise it wouldn't be so hard to estimate the final requirements. Somehow I hope DX11 will improve the game a lot, but common sense dictates caution here.
