Really, the Gauss rifle and the mike m.gun are terrible.
Bad balance. You expect weapons will be better when you are comming further

They are never better the higher you go. They are just more specialized. The scar is your workhorse, your all around gun. the higher level weapons are better in some situations and worse in another. At least that's what they are supposed to be, I'm still lvl 32

oh well, I experienced the same thing. Reached lv39, unlocked the gauss (yay!) and found out that the gauss is practically ****. Unusable for me. Never hit somehting with it, not very accurate. Tried to unlock the reflex sight to use it in closer battles, where it should be easier to hit, but couldn't unlock the sight because it was too annoying to lose every fight bcause I didn't hit anything. So I don't use it anymore.

Gauss rifle is really useless, unless you use it with rapid fire on pro mode.

Mike is a good support weapon but a little underpowered at 1x1.

C4 is universally good though.

C4 is got at Capture the Relay. Plant a bomb at the relay and watch the fireworks...

the c4 is funny for capture the relay or crash site.
its useless in other modes

but its a a lot of fun

man i love the gauss and i dont use it with rapid fire for me its fine the way it is ...but still the crysis 1 gauss is better i use it with reflex and sniper scope and man im accurate ..dude i even without knowin selected my gauss class for terminal and i was killing everione with the sniper attachment i killed like 18 and unlocked all the kill-streaks and died 3 times ...so yep i like the gauss but i want my crysis 1 gauss lol

What.

Gauss is great, you just need to hit either the torso or the head and anyone will die from 1 shot.

It won't kill even if you hit the torso, because player has 120 health and gauss rifle deals 115 damage, so it means that if enemy is even slightly damaged before you hit him with gauss rifle, you will kill him instantly, if you won't kill him because he has full health, at least he isn't able to run away, because gauss rifle drains all sits energy and he has critical health. I would like gauss rifle have 1 hit kill on the torso, maximised accuracy and range, at the expense of fire rate, mobility and sighting speed.

Gauss gun is good for three situations. Takes down ceph gunships with ease(way better than the jaw.) Covering a crash-site because one shot kills and huge clip. And having the Gauss attachment means a you can just forget your gauss gun (loadout pro) but still use the ammo. I discovered this last night trying figure out what to put in my jack of all trades class called SCARS. Thanks to the clip size being up to 4 you can kill with it...(though use the reflex sight because lbiteyl has shown its the best for on the go sniping.)

torso gives you 1.5x damage boost while dead is 2.2x

I had to wait until Rank 33, then i got 7 unlocks at once. When u get one its important to go on an empty server and arm it there, because it`s gettin saved then.

X43-MIKE is awesome :-)

for rushers, it's the best -in my opinion
