the upgrades do carry over. It was stated from nathan camarillo in an interview. He said once you beat the game and unlock all of the nano suit upgrades they will be available when you play through again

Not to be too skeptic, but could you give a link to your source?

Ok if its mechanics then....
The nano-modules are arranged in 4 categories (one for each finger excluding thumb), the gist is that these modules act like weapon attachments - you have to equip them just like a weapon attachment (not to mention unlocking them first) in every new level you play. If its a continuous playthrough then these unlocked modules stay and you can simply re-enable them but if starting a playback of previously played level then they would not (at least in my version)

yup thats what my retail does, new game = reset. I mean it does warn me with a dialogue saying "You will lose all progress in current campaign"

EDIT: to make it more clear if you go back to chp 3 then you lose everything and are left with a Feline and a Hammer

OH

ok but what about using the "replay mission" option then? does that keep your modules intact?

A user over at 360achievements.org snagged a copy of the game early and has already completed the campaign- he confirmed that collectibles and armor modules carry over to other difficulties. He also posted a shot of himself with the game disc, so I think it's safe to assume he's telling the truth.

It's confirmed in post #8, for anyone that's interested!

Some guy at a certain forum claimed he just completed the campaign in 6 hours 49 minutes and 38 seconds!!!
Seeing is believing, click here for proof:

And yes, he confimred we can replay any previously completed missions and have all the nanosuit upgrades and we can choose any difficulty level to replay any missions.

Playing on Easy and rushing from point to point can do that. I can finish Crysis in a few hours if I want to, what's left to know is if he actually did it.
