As we all know, Crysis 2 was available by DVD, Digital Download, and thru Steam. Now, I am sure when we all play online, I know the DVD and Digital Download users all get to play together, but what about the people that purchased through "Steam"? Do we play with them as well, or are they on a completely different set of servers? It's "not" a Steam game, it was just available thru Steam as another means of purchasing it, but I am trying to figure out if they just launch thru Steam, then connect to the regular Crysis 2 (EA) servers?

I would think... "YES", that we ALL end up on the same server base, just not positive if that's the case or not?

You can play with users who bought the game on Steam,if you buy a non steam game(Crysis 2,Bad Company 2,CoD4 etc...) on steam you play on official servers...if you buy a steam game(Portal 2,L4D2,team Fortress 2)you play on steam servers...

When a game is available on Steam and on retail, both share the same servers. always. it's not like 2 different platforms. It's just that ones use steam to launch the game and others don't.
