Will the PC crysis 2 dvd need Steam to run?

Will the retail dvd crysis 2 be "steamed". If I need to link it to steam then I will get it for the PS3.

P.S I am not a steam fan. ( Don't ask why.)

Are you sure. Becuase steam is a pain and not needed for the disk. ( Mostly becuase steam IS a pain.)

It wouldn't because it's on the EA download manager too. So I would hardly believe that the retail version would force you to use Steam out of the two. When I pick up my game, I will install it with the disc like anyone normally would do, then after that I will add the key to the EA download manager so that I have both a physical and digital copy.

No, the retail DVD version doesn't require Steam to run.
