Cloaking - Next level newb tool? - discuss...

!00% damage absorb or 33% of incoming damage? I'd rather have Crysis 1's 100% while energy is up thanks.

Why did you need to quote my post for that?

Also, I'm pretty sure C2 armour mitigates more damage overall. C1 armour was only good for like a second before it depleted totally. C1 armour was better because it gave you a small chance in the event you made a mistake, while allowing you to recharge and not making you glow like a christmas tree.

Armor mode is fine unless sprinting can be faster. If sprinting cannot be inhanced then armor mode needs to be inhanced.
But wont this throw off the balance of ALL the weapons if done? (I already know the answer to this question for some of you, it's yes)
Of course that's only if they overbuff armor mode of course.

Also, man.. that spelling was irking me.

mobility enhance is STILL good... just does not work well stealth on with it off you can run a lot of places FAST(more of out climb people.) I might make a Enhance class that enhances every suit mode. So that I am just a bit better than your suit in every way. (Armor with no speed loss. Cloak with no shadow and a running with low energy cost.)

This, definitely. It's not nearly as good as it was but that isn't relevant. I personally use Stealth enhance and Mobility enhance on my best "runner" class. It's easily one of the deadliest combinations. You're still able to clear 1/4-1/3 the map in ONE energy bar. Which is saying a LOT!

Granted, I find it stupid that these are almost a staple if you like to move in multiplayer but still....

for example: lets say we are playing capure the relay, and all i do the entire game is stay by my relay cloaked. i wait the entire game for you to come by as you pick up my relay i blast you in the back with high explosive weapon such a a rocket or nadespammer. mean while u had to get through like 5 epic battles just to get to my base.
Are you trying to insult good team players who are on a defence role?

NO , I'm saying camping is simply cowardly/cheese way to win. It is way more difficult to pwn via CQB or sniping. that requires years of practice & experience to get to a decent lvl in order to provide heavy damage.

and for those who mentioned about playing COD, i honestly believe COD is total ****, that game is definitely not for me.... only reason its soo popular because EA has a fantastic marketing campaign to promote that game.

There are cheesier ways unfortunately, if thats a word.

When you get used to stealth you get better at seeing stealth people, the perks for detecting stealth help as well, there are three or four.

Steath tracker, visor enhance, proximity alarm and covert ops, theres also that stealth hunter or detector.

I had a bit of difficulty for the first couple of days seeing stealth people... after that, no so much of an issue, you can stealth too. I've also seen good players that use armor mode heavily as well.

It doesn't allow you to change between nanosuit modes either, hence 'CoD WITH NANOSUITS'

Twitch gameplay: Yes
Hitscan: yes
Small maps: yes
Small teams: yes
Lonewolfing as a successful tactic: yes
Killstreaks: yes
Perk system: yes
Prestige mode: yes

There's probably more, these are just off the top of my head, and they're coincidentally all the major defining characteristic elements of CoD.

Seriously - my k/d and overall score is better when im going all lonewolf massacre.
And when i somehow stick with my teammates - i get dissapointed, 'cos they are slow and cant cover me

Same here, its alot harder to do teamwork in this game, since average players are bad i dont even bother most of the time.

I get a sense of team work playing crash site, like when there's a few of us at the pod holding it down successfully, fun times. :)

Teamwork wise I try to maximise the use of my binocs to tag enemy players from a distance, that is essentially the easiest way to help your team-mates since it makes your marks nice and glowy-red even in stealth, and a helpful arrow over their head that gives their position even behind walls. It only stops working when you get those tricky ones who put in the time to get [Blind Spot II] for visor-tag immunity. Then you have to go take them out yourself.

For Crash sites, Detonation Delay is very useful. Since the extra two seconds on grenades can give your team-mates a chance to escape the blast too! [Detonation Delay III] completes the protection by negating JAW missiles, which can often decimate defenders if the orbital laser doesn't first. [Detonation Delay II] is enough to avoid C4 traps in Relay and Extraction games since your suit alerts you to a triggered charge.

Tagging - is awesome. wanna learn to do that. Other things - useless honestly.

Even more - runing with me is the worst idea you can have. 'cos you cant sustain the same speed of going in and out of stealth - then running and stuff... And when you get shot - i get shot. And that sux
