It says "The rumour also says that DirectX 11 will only support GTX 590 in Crysis 2" - Thats like holding AMD card users with crysis-2 to ransom which isn't the way the 'game is meant to be played' in my book, AMD cards can utilize these DX-11 technologies just as well and if the rumor is true then to restrict one manufacturer in favor of the other would fly in the face of this whole "multi-platform" ideology, this corporate GPU war will have it's casualties... us! we'll ultimately loose out, i hope the rumor is BS.

More like holding their own DX11 cards back its total false BS and OP this has been brought up many times already

I'd be amazed if this was true. But Crytek have pulled dirty tricks in the past. Remember the very high settings of Crysis being wilfully locked out on DX9. I wonder if Microsoft paid them to do that?
