Hey,

just bought Crysis 2 on STEAM. After downloading all the files, i started the game and it asked me for activationkey. I entered my key and finished activation, but Crysis 2 won't start. I retried, but same happened. Everytime i want to start the game, it just wants me to activate, but game does not start.

Anybody else out there with the same problem?

BTW: I'm using Windows 7 x64

Bought mine from best buy and game won't start for me either. I get black screen and nothing happens. Can't get windows back either. It activated and downloaded 1.1 patch successfully but when I try to start the game, the screen just goes blank. I have a 9800 gtx+ and e7300 processor. Anyone know what's going on?

this problem can happen from when you open crysis 2 the first time it askes for activation, the reason this is because it may have tryed to load the game and reverted to the activation without adding the game to the process list, the way you can try and fix this is restart your computer and try again until it does work because then you should not have to activate it again.
