Again, as pointed out in other threads, the Textures.pak filesize in Crysis 2 is far smaller than in Crysis 1. So your observation is supported by further proof, but given our current state in the Crysis 2 PC community, that's the least of our worries.
It really doesn't matter if the different versions share some art assets. Actually it makes sense to do that. From watching that same video it was clear, to me at least, that over all the game still looks much better on the pc. Just because the 3 versions share some art hardly makes this a port. It's all about the code baby. It's all about the code.
This. 50% agreed. Art direction and pushing the limits of hardware is also important, IMHO.
