Hint for better Crysis 2

Congrats to you Crytek for this awesome game, howewer i found weapon switcing too fast. For example player switches from sniper to scar in 1 second! It is a way too fast and unbalanced (unfair). Thank You

How far exactly is this unbalanced or unfair? Since everyone has the option to switch weapons that fast I think it's pretty fair and balanced.
btw: If you have to change from a sniper rifle to a scar(or w/e) because someone suddenly is standing in front of you, the time needed to switch definetly gives you a disadvantage although the switch-time is relativly low. All in all it's fine as it is.

No, it's fine as it is. They're not aiming for complete realism. There are some fun things that need to be left in first person shooter games. It's balanced because everyone's weapon switch takes the same amount of time.

I am just saying that if switch time is longer (3-5 s), players will think twice before coming into action with sniper into a close-combat area. Player will finally acivate his brain in FPS genre if switch time is longer and actively participate in planning his next step.

Uhm, sounds like someone plays too slow and doesn't like losing to people with reflexes, IMO.

It's been said already, if the time to change weapons is universally the same, it can not possibly be unfair, or a balance issue.

You can't balance fail.

Err, faster the weapon switching the better. Somebody doesnt like getting killed with skill when I drop my last SCAR bullet and whip out my pistol to finish you off? hehe. ^-^

I know a regular soldier doesn't take anything like 5 seconds to drop an assault rifle on a 3 point sling and get a pistol out. I can only assume an augmented soldier who's enough of a badass to get the suit to begin with is probably faster than that. And if you figure that the nanosuit probably has SOME consideration given to weapon access, it isn't even too horribly unrealistic.

Try a macro keyboard, record a macro that spins in a circle shooting and changing weapons, and mash that constantly. Sounds like it would be a huge improvement over playing with your reflexes anyway.
