Rebooting the Nanosuit MP (Prestiging)

Post » Fri Jun 03, 2011 5:34 am

Hey I was wondering has anyone gotten as far in the multiplayer to investigate the prestiging aspect of it?

Apparently it's called "Reboot Your Nanosuit" and you sart back from level 1, loosing all your stats except total exp.

Which could be good if you want to aim for a better K/D on your second try lol. And also spend you runlocks more wisely?

Apparently it comes with a few camo unlocks as well? Lol. Hopefully there's more to it than this and a fancy little emblem.

Anyone know any more? :)

Takes a while to actually level in Crysis 2. In cod i could max level in 2 days, so unless theres a clear advantage to prestiging, i dont see the point

From what ive heard the two SCAR skins (Digital and Desert) are the only multiplayer camo choices in the game. I would also doubt there are any legit rank 50 players yet, even if somebody got it on the 22nd and no lifed it online.

I got the info I have from the PS3 forums so yeh they must have been busy little bees. Haha.

:D I'm interested to see where this rebooting goes. Hopefully we get lots of fancy unlock, but I really doubt it.

Lets copy more of the useless fluff from COD so the people with OCD disorders can "watch numbers go up!" and feel like it has some kind of meaning or importance to the game.

Artificial replay value for morons who don't know better.

I don't mind prestiging. The ranking isn't too bad as long as your KD per game is roughly 3:1. Getting the ceph ship basically grantees a 5:1 KD in a game at least. Idk why I even bother as I cant even get into MP.

btw I did play the demo so yea I know how it plays.

I liked Crysis Wars because evryone was the same level with the same guns available to them. That's what is addicting not being forced to play on to level up to get all the unlocks, and then be satisfied you now have the weapon options of Crysis Wars. - a tonne of weapon customisations and claymores. :P

Massive market research has shown that only hardcoe gamers enjoy a game like this.

Most casual gamers would feel like they are wasting their time though. When you can't play the game very well, you don't get very much out of it were it not for the unlocks.

This gives the casual scrub the feeling that he's accomplishing something so he doesn't give up playing.
