tomorrow patch with DX11, only this?

Post » Fri Jun 03, 2011 1:11 am

many PC gamers, are not calling for bugs, defects and still presents the multiplayer game.
I honestly am just calling to support DX11, is that they want to resolve problems with lvl coming back after leaving the game with high ping for us in South America, like the server so we can play a game we did well $ 60.00 u dear, I want to see on my list of favorite servers that I add, is that I want Crytek importance of the quality of the game because the graphics are great, even without DX11.
Sorry for my english, google translators know xD

I will quote "consolitis" from nfohump forum.

Far Cry 1.2 patch enabled Shader Model 3 graphics and it was supposed to improve the image quality according to nvidia: http://www.hardocp.com/article/2004/04/25/shader_model_30 The actual difference in quality? None (although it improved performance), it was a marketing trick using screenshots from a Crytek techdemo instead of the actual game.

Far Cry 64bit patch brought some HD texture, bump maps etc, that do not depend or benefit at all from a 64bit processor: http://www.anandtech.com/show/1677 but they were released only for the 64bit version to honor the agreement between Crytek and AMD.

Crysis had artificially locked the Very High graphics settings for the dx10 version: http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2007/10/30/the-directx-10-criysis/ although the dx9 version could run the vast majority of them and run them BETTER.

And now Crysis 2 ships with dx9 only and includes effects such as per object motion blur and bokeh DoF filter that are CUDA or DX11 exclusive effects in other titles.

And the "entusiast" PC gamers say its graphics are those of a console port when it looks better than other "enthusiast" games with **** DX11 effects

That's all i wanted to say.

yup. the dx11 was expected BUT its not the biggest problem guys. some people cant even PLAY the game sp OR mp.

"""""DX 11 isn’t the only feature to watch out for in this patch, PC users will also be able to customize their graphics more properly, instead of choosing a set of preset graphic setting you can now adjust typical graphic features such as motion blur, AA and many other graphical features to your liking.""""""

I couldn't agree more.

There are many issues that need fixing with the core game.

Even if dx11 makes a noticeable visual difference (which I HIGHLY doubt) that can't be run in dx9 (which I also doubt), it is WAY towards the bottom of my list of fixes in order of importance.

How about they fix the lag? Broken lobby? Broken server list user interface? Fix the server filter? Fix the leveling system? And the list goes on.

I don't care if direct x 11 doesn't come out for months. Prioritize the more important issues.

I will be rather annoyed if people start jumping on the Crytek bandwagon and start apologizing because they just got dx11 and little else.
