Does dx11 work on xp operating systems? From what i hear dx11 only available on vista and windows 7 and with so many people on xp (apparently over 50 percent of market) still, would that somehow stop dx11 from being on crysis 2? If i wanted to make as much cash as possible then including xp users and having dx9 would make sense. More customers meaning more cash and all that. Me personally i want dx11 as thought the game was already like a lot of us crysis fans.

according to steam only 5% of players have DX11 capable video cards

so that 5% of the people are whining on the forums while the others are enjoying the game

I have a DX11 card, and i have played DX11 games, on Metro 2033, by enabling DX11, i might get better NPC models and some better shadows, but at a 20%-40% framerate drop

so if crytek releases DX11 i hope they do it right with not so much performance drop, or at least a notable improvement
less than 5% actually, I am one of those people on Steam with a DX11 capable card, but I am ok with playing on DX9, it still looks good.

I know it's been posted loads of times 19.23% in the Feb survey and it's increasing unbelievably rapidly. Probably will be at 25% by now, more if Crysis 2 had a significant effect on upgrades.

Somebody e-mail Steam and tell them to take the figures from may 2009-2010 down off the front page they shouldn't be there.

Also re the rumor about tomorrow. Who would put up a false article saying it's out the next day that means it gets disproved almost instantly. No they must think the source is good.... But is it?
